A wooded North Idaho lot needs more than a chainsaw before it can be built on. Mfditanzania clears trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grubs the stumps and roots below grade so nothing heaves or regrows under a future slab. Why Grubbing Below Grade Matters

• No buried surprises. Left in the ground, a stump rots, settles, and leaves a soft void that can sink a footing years later.
• Clean compaction. Once the roots are out, structural fill compacts evenly to 95 percent Proctor density instead of bridging over old wood.
• Fire and drainage. Clearing brush also opens defensible space and lets us set the drainage grade the wet season demands.

Our Process

We place an 811 locate, then take the standing timber and brush down first. Next we grub the stumps and root balls, backfill the voids, and rough grade the cleared ground. Topsoil is stripped and stockpiled for you to reuse. Silt fence stays up along the downhill edge so cleared soil does not wash toward Fernan Lake or a storm drain.
